A photovoltaic system for backwoods locations  (stand alone)

A photovoltaic system of this kind generates energy to directly feed the electric needs. The exeeding energy is stored by the batteries that make it available when the photovoltaic system is not able to supply. This kind of system is the most suitable to satisfy the demands of backwoods users.
 

Photovoltaic system (grid connected)

This system works on an interchange way with the local electric energy net. Pratically the user can benefit of the energy produced by his own system and when there is no light or the light is not enough  he will be provided by the local net with  the needed energy. Thanks to an inverter machine the direct current coming from the panels is transformed into the normally used alternating current at 220 v.

Just in case the system were to produce more energy than the needed one you can divert it into the net by selling the overproduction to the public energy provider. This is possible thanks to a meter counting the quantity of the energy produced by the photovoltaic system sold to the net and another meter that counts the energy bought from the public net.
